Lower Level
Taking best advantage of the terraced site, architects designed the lower level to continue the transparent and light-filled theme of the entry and canopy levels. Starting with the magnificent stairwell lounge, light and nature pour in through huge windows, bouncing off and travelling through LowE glass walls of the showpiece wine cellar and wine vault built into the earth.
A deep interior garden, surrounded by sliding glass doors and accessible from two sides, blurs the divide between outside and in, dispersing natural light and fresh air without allowing exterior access. A large guest suite wraps around the light well, drawing light into sleeping and lounging areas, and into a generous spa-like ensuite.
Beneath the central pavilion, a private wellness wing comprised of residential spa replete with home gym, steam shower, sauna and changing rooms, connects by way of a second light-filled stairwell, to the pool and hot tub areas outside.
A large cinema wing, situated adjacent to the guest suite invites relaxation or competition with its state-of-the-art entertainment/games suite. Outfitted with a custom-made billiards table, pinball and other low-tech games of skill, the space serves double duty for family, guests, and business.
A large, 440 sq. ft. playroom to the west, situated beneath the kitchen, provides secure and quiet space for children to play and relax — far from the guest suite and cinema lounge. A large mechanical room, accessed solely from the interior, is command central for the many impressive and sustainable systems and safeguards that run the estate.
